Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Scriptures both Old and New Testaments, to be inerrant and the verbally inspired Word of God, the complete revelation of his will for the salvation of man, and the supreme and final authority in faith, doctrine and life. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, eternal in being, identical in nature, equal in power and glory and having the same attributes and perfections. Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 5:3,4; Matthew 28:18,19; John 10:30

We believe in the personality of Satan and other evil spirit beings as the enemies of God, the saints, and the holy angels. Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but spiritual death; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, incapable of pleasing God and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become culpable sinners, utterly lost; and that only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as the representative and propitiatory sacrifice. 1 John 2:2; 1 Corinthians 15:3-6; Ephesians 1:20-22

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord; His ascension into heaven, and His personal bodily presence there for us as Forerunner, High Priest, and Advocate. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:11; Heb. 7:17

We believe that the shed blood of Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation; and that only those who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. 1 Peter 1:18,19; Ephesians 2:8,9

We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons, who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are thus united together in the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head. 1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 12:5; Ephesians 1:22,23

We believe that the local church's primary business (with no worldly alliances) is to shed the light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ continuously in all the earth, looking for her Lord's return. Amos 3:3; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

We believe in the personal, bodily, visible, pre-tribulation, pre-Millennial, and imminent return of our glorified Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; and that this 'blessed hope' has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:11

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict men, to regenerate the believing sinner, to indwell, guide, instruct, sanctify, fill and empower the believer for godly living and service. John 16:8-14; Ephesians 5:18

We believe that at death all men continue in conscious existence, awaiting the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the saved to everlasting blessedness, and the lost to everlasting conscious torment. Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 20:1-6
