Pray that the NBC Alumni website can be an effective way for us to stay connected with the college. Pray that it can be a source of encouragement as we read Alumni Updates and acknowledge God's continuing hand on our lives, and that it can be a source of strength as we uphold each other in these prayer requests. Praise God for the impact we have had on NBC and pray that more alumni will join us in being regular supporters and contributers to NBC through prayer, finance, and other ways.

Jason Elford - would like prayer that he can create effective routines and practices in prayer and support for the Alumni, and succeed in making the Alumni Association as a whole feel more strongly connected with the school. Pray also that the Alumni would respond in overwhelming support and effort from their end to remain connected to and supportive of NBC. Please pray for wisdom and as he expands into an additional key role this fall.

Barry ('82) and Reneil (Goertzen '83) Larson - praise God for 25 years of marriage and for children who are following the Lord. Pray that their marriage will continue to model Christ within them and through them.

Kevin ('04) and Melissa Derksen - Praise God for a slower pace of work after busy months, and for two amazing little girls who are always excited to be with their parents. Pray for upcoming events where Kevin represents Wycliffe and that Kevin can build relationships with Christians on the secular campuses. Pray for wisdom in planning when to schedule time off during the summer and for quality family time.

Alumni Executive - pray for good unity among the Exec and that God will continue to bless NBC through their volunteer roles. Pray for wisdom in planning Alumni Weekend and for a good turnout on November 22-24. Praise God for being able to raise funds for the purchase of six new wireless headset mics for NBC.

Daryl and Denise (Young, '01) Rice - Pray for wisdom in leading a youth group with a mix of churched and un-churched kids in Garrington, AB. Pray for personal spiritual growth and balancing work, youth group, and family. Praise and prayer for the birth of their 2nd child due in August.

Dan & Laura (Zondervan) Collins ('02) - Pray for their new job and home in Huntsville, ON where Dan is the Leadership Training Director at Camp Mini-yo-we. They are overseeing two discipling programs for youth aged 16-17 (LIT) and 17-20 (praXis). As they begin their ministry there they are aiming to build a prayer and support team, and would like specific prayer for God's hand in working at the camp and in these programs as they pour into these youth. Pray for safety of staff and campers.

Irv & Mari Penner ('93) - Pray for continued growth in their learning Spanish. Irv has struggled with this especially, and at times has felt quite discouraged with that. Pray for God to be teaching him through this and for strength. Pray with Irv as he does prison ministry each Wednesday. Praise for a great YUGO ministries fundraiser at Martensville Baptist in May.

Guillermo ('86) & Mary-Ann Reddekopp - Praise for health and safety on ground, in the air (Guillermo’s a pilot), great schooling for kids, that Lavinia’s tonsil removal went well, and for God supplying their needs. Pray for wisdom in homeschooling which Mary-Ann began in January. Pray they can be a blessing to everyone they spend time with, and for adaptability and sensitivity to Holy Spirit as their ministries change in moving from Macha to the capital city of Lusaka. Pray about an increase needed in support.

Mike & Sharlene McDonald ('95) - Praise their support ended in the black for 2012, and for a lot of support that has come in to YUGO to cover many various important ministry expenses. Pray for $15,000 to cover YUGO’s ministry expenses this year, including pastor’s benevolence, evangelism and discipleship, pastor/leader training, and youth camp. Pray for Michael’s new role at the Rosarito Outreach Center especially in connecting North American mission teams with churches in the Tijuana/Rosarito area. Pray for making good connections in a culturally sensitive manner. Pray for wisdom and financial provision in whether oldest children should go into an accredited homeschool system.

Kevin ('81) & Janice (Ruten, '82) Evans - Praise for their new home at the Faith Mission Centre (Falkland, BC) and for the hours of volunteer time put into completing this. Praise for their great church family/home in Vernon, BC Pray for their opportunities in sharing the gospel at 2 Kids Klubs in Kamloops each week and the seeds being planted. Pray for “C” who was in the prison where Kevin is able to do some ministry and for his growth, especially as he was released in April. Pray for “M”, who had graduated from Teen Challenge - they have lost contact with him and heard he is not doing well.

Tony ('86) & Janet (Klassen, '85) Ens - Pray for the health of their two boys related to headaches (Brett) and concussion (Justin). Pray for future direction as Keywatin Bible Institute where they serve will be closing at the end of this year.

Marlene Adrian ('77) - Pray she is able to sell her house by the end of summer, she'd like to avoid renting it out if possible. Pray for God’s timing in employment and schooling and in future life direction. Praise she is able to be working at King's Fold.

Peter ('76) & Diane (Gruchy, '77) Salmond - Praise God for the sewing school and children’s ministry projects which are both up and running. Pray about he costs of running the sewing school and provision for those, as well as for the leaders of the kid’s ministry. Pray for funds to construct a preschool building. Pray about the planting of a new church in a neighboring community - for a building and for the people. Pray about their overall ministry with YWAM in the Ryabega area of Rwanda.

Elizabeth (Wenzel) Heinricks ('49) - pray for her children and grandchildren. Most of them are not walking with the Lord.

Dave ('01) & Marsha Reimer - Pray for balancing work and home life, especially as they undertake major renovations. Pray they can share their home and blessings well in blessing others.

Kevin & Karla Roberts ('94)- Pray for the ongoing health/recovery process for their daughter Abi, who originally had a brain tumor removed in January 2012. There have been many ups and downs along the way. Pray for strength and peace for the family and the big impact on daily life.

Jason & Anita (Brundage) Boucher ('95)- Pray for wisdom in balancing home life with work and ministry life. Jason and Anita serve as directors at Big River Bible Camp, SK with NCEM.

Kristin (Elford '97) & Reuben Raney - Praise that all of the earthquakes around where they live (Christchurch, NZ) have been lessening. Pray about their house repairs necessary from earthquakes dating back 2 years. Their family is outgrowing the house, but they can't move or sell until insurance fixes the home. Praise God their son has been given a clean bill of health and overcome Kawasaki disease.

Jason & Becky (Townsend) Salmond ('02) - Praise God for the good job Jason got that fits well with their family life and for an affordable second vehicle. Praise for how God has been providing all of their needs so incredibly, especially noticeable and obvious with Jason’s gaps in employment. Praise for where God has placed them in life. Pray as Jason continues to balance full-time studies (Toronto Baptist Seminary) with lots of work hours and family/husband time.

Mark Bergen ('11) - Pray for safety as he works on a potato farm this summer.

Danny & Alycia (Stephens, '98) DeLong - Pray for direction and discernment in how to go forward in future ministry. Pray they can continue to grow in learning the right balance of family time as they're involved in ministry.

Rob ('94) and Amanda (Jones, '95) MacDonald - Praise and prayer about Rob's acceptance into the Alberta College of Psychologists (to become a registered psychologist). It will be a large time and effort commitment. Pray also for Amanda as a mom, growing in how she handles stress, motherhood, and their fairly recent move to and continued adjustment to Okotoks. Pray for Amanda’s pregnancy and safe delivery of baby #2 in August.

Reg & Heather (Mitchell, '86) Salt - Pray for strength for her and the family as Heather has terminal cancer in various parts of her body. Pray about the periodic treatments at the Cross Cancer Center in Edmonton - that God would take away some of the tiredness and other symptoms that usually come with this.

Tim & Heidi Schellenberg ('02) - Pray for God’s peace and assurance in trusting Him for the future - there are some uncertainties with Tim's dad and his health, and also they are seeking God's timing and direction in where He might be leading them. Praise for God’s provision and some employment as they go through this transitional life stage. Pray for Heidi's cousin who was in a car accident in March with serious results. Praise for her recovery so far and the prayer for the journey ahead.

Tyler & Brianna (Fehr) Shore ('05) - Pray as Tyler was diagnosed with lymphoma (cancer) in fall 2012 and has undergone chemotherapy. Pray for continued strength and recovery.

Dylan Martens ('11) - He’s planning on attending Providence in the fall. Pray for savings and preparing to go back to school. Pray for continued healing from ACL surgery in February and for peace and trust in God through the process.

Bill & Bev McCaskell ('86) - Pray as they focus on the finance part of bringing together seven regional offices into one accounting system, and on doing personnel development. Pray for long-term direction with personnel needs. Praise God for good support levels and seeing God’s generosity through His people. Bill and Bev serve as national directors for CSSM ministries.

Jacob & Hazel Froese ('50) - Pray over their two severely autistic grand-children, aged 16&14 years old. Pray for their care, and for strength, patience and trust - particularly for his daughter and son-in-law (the parents). Pray for healing.

Justin Sawatzky ('10) - Praise God for his job with Fairway Ford in Steinbach. Pray for his continued growth and relationship with God, for consistently spending time with Him. Pray for him to grow in the area of trust.

Laura Drake ('07) - Praise for the opportunities she's had in running kids clubs in Napanee and Marmora (ON). Pray for seeds planted with children and with their parents, and for continued opportunity as most of these families do not attend church anywhere.

Tim ('74) and Diane (Schierling '75) Vellacott - Pray for details and and opportunities to continue developing over the coming years for places of ministry at Yuma & Lake Havasu. Praise God for openings to serve in camps around the Emma Lake area (north of Prince Albert). Pray for them to be sensitive to God leading them into the right position and that they would serve well.

Lisa (Enns '89) and Randy Wiebe - Pray for healing of Lisa's lung cancer - for Lisa to be strengthened spiritually, physically, and mentally, and for their family as a whole, that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray for dilligence in being disciplined in her reading of God’s word, praying, and diet. Praise for courage and strength God has given them.

Josiah & Anne Jisca (Gaucher) Meyer ('03) - Pray for Josiah’s language studies and for God to enlarge his comprehension, retention, and memorizing skills. Praise for the great growth he’s experienced. Pray for their two boys as they continue to adjust to the move to Quebec and for a new friend for their son. Praise God their placement country was finalized - they will be heading to Niger sometime in 2014.

JJ & Lorissa (Thiessen) Spence ('04) - Pray about their move to southern Manitoba this summer. Praise God for Lorissa’s pregnancy and prayer for safe delivery later this summer.

Peter ('66) and Linda (Friesen '67) Enns - Pray for wisdom as they plan their travel/itinerary monthly/yearly, for energy & sharpness of focus, and sensitivity to the Lord in preparation. Pray for trouble-free travelling (truck has 226,000K’s), safety in travel and finances to cover costs, and for making good contacts as they travel full-time for NewTribes Mission.

Dan & Angie Dugan ('87) - Pray with them as Dan suffered a stroke in October 2012. He and Angie are in pretty good spirits, however, there is a life adjustment to be made, as his mobility and speech have been pretty affected. Praise God they can trust in Him, and prayer for continued trusting in His goodness and His hand on their lives. Dan has just finished up his pastoral role at Wadena Baptist Church.

Allan Kreller ('01) - Pray for overall direction as he's in a very transitional stage of life.

Nathan ('02) and Natasha (Ginther '04) Enns - Praise God for their visas being taken care of for now. Pray that they could learn to relate to those they will be ministering to and that their support would continue to increase (they arent far from the minimum allowed by their mission). Also pray that they would have patience in their studies and even more so, as they raise Cali (2yrs old in August).

Lisa Barber ('82) - Pray about her low support levels. She is thankful all her needs have been met. Pray for her spiritual growth and for the development of leadership and counseling skills as she continues to study at Tyndale, ministers in her home community, and serves missionaries with International Teams. Pray for discerning “next steps” for life and ministry.

Steve & Penny Enns ('01) - Pray for Penny's health, for a fast and complete recovery from health problems. Pray that our team can begin surveys of interior villages soon. Pray for us to have God's wisdom and love in all we do; especially in raising our children (age 3 and 1).
