One of the rooms in the newly renovated women’s dorm.
The women’s dorm renovation was completed in the summer of 2006, and we are in the design stage of the men’s dorm renovation. If finances come in, we plan to move ahead with that in the summer of 2007. This photo shows the finished product in the women’s dorm.
Insulation being added to the Dining Hall ceiling.
The primary Alumni project for 2006/2007 is to add 12 inches of blow-in insulation to the ceiling of the Dining Hall. That project was done at the end of December and there were funds left over, so the second project will now go ahead as well – purchasing new chairs for the Dining Hall. Any donations that come in for the alumni project will be used for that purpose.
The old weight room and storage area after the dividing walls were removed.
The “weight room” and storage area in the south east corner of the gym is getting a facelift. The storage compartments have been taken out and we are in the process of developing an expanded Fitness Centre. If you know of some fitness equipment sitting idle in a basement near you, we would be grateful to be able to have it for our students’ use.
