A significant amount of financial assistance is available to NBC students. The following types of financial assistance are available.
1. Early Application Incentive
NBC offers special discounts to students who apply early. These discounts vary from year to year and will usually be made available 6-12 months before the beginning of the school year to which they apply. Contact NBC’s enrollment director for details.
2. Scholarships
Entrance Scholarships
Description & Criteria: Nipawin Bible College offers several $1000 Entrance Scholarships to freshman students who qualify in Academics, Athletics, and Music.
Application Process: Application forms for these scholarships may be requested from the Enrollment Director and need to be returned by July 1st.
Awarding of Funds: Scholarship will be awarded for the second semester. Aapplicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Specifications: Applicant is eligible to apply for the recruitment scholarship and one other major scholarship if applicable.
Recruitment Scholarship
Description & Criteria: A $750 incentive for freshmen and returning NBC students to recruit prospective students who are not on NBC's contact list to attend in the same academic year that they are attending.
Application Process: Recruiting students must present a recruitment form to the potential student and have them fill it out and send it along with their NBC application. Recruitment scholarship forms are available from the Enrollment Director's office.
Awarding of Funds: If the potential student enrolls and the form clearly states they came to NBC because of the recruiting student's efforts the scholarship will be awarded in the second semester.
Specifications: This is a single scholarship of $750 per student recruited
Family Scholarship
Description & Criteria: When two or three family members attend NBC as full time students in the same academic year, each will be eligible for a $500 scholarship. For the purposes of this scholarship, a family member is defined as father, mother, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, husband, or wife.
Application Process: Application must state on the appropriate line in the NBC application form the name of the family member attending NBC the same academic year.
Awarding of Funds: Scholarship will be awarded in the second semester.

Camp Scholarship
Description & Criteria: Nipawin Bible College has partnered with various camps to offer a scholarship to students who work full time at camp in the summer and attend NBC in the fall.
Specifications: Please contact the Enrollment Director for details regarding each camp and what the requirements are for applying. Applicant is also eligible to apply for the recruitment scholarship and one other major scholarship if applicable.
Ministry Children Scholarship
Description & Criteria: To offer students whose parents are in full time ministry a $1500 scholarship. Applicants must be 21 years of age or younger at the time of enrolling to be eligible.
Application Process: Application form may be requested from the Enrollment Director and needs to be returned by July 1st.
Awarding of Funds: Scholarship will be awarded in the student's second semester of full-time studies. The applicant must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Specifications: Applicant is eligible to apply for the recruitment scholarship and one other major scholarship if applicable.
3. Bursaries
Bursaries are granted to students who are in good standing and who are in genuine financial need. Applications and a detailed list of eligibility criteria are made available each August to all those who have indicated their intention to study at NBC in the coming fall. A list of bursaries can be found in our catalogue.
The Canada Student Loan Plan designates Nipawin Bible College as eligible for qualifying students. Low interest loans and grants are available under this plan. Additional information can be obtained at your bank. We can also assist you with any questions.
5. First Nations Assistance
First Nations students may also be eligible for financial assistance through their own band assistance program.
6. Foreign Students
Tuition assistance is available for foreign students on a limited basis. Further information is available from the Registrar.
