A significant amount of financial assistance is available to NBC students. The following types of financial assistance are available.
1. Early Application Incentive
NBC offers special discounts to students who apply early. These discounts vary from year to year and will usually be made available 6-12 months before the beginning of the school year to which they apply. Contact NBC’s enrollment director for details.
2. Scholarships
Freshman Entrance Scholarships
NBC offers several athletic and music scholarships each year. If you think you might qualify for such a scholarship, contact NBC’s enrollment director for details.
Ministry Children Scholarship
Tuition assistance is given to children whose parents are presently in full-time vocational ministry, provided the student is 21 years of age or younger. These students are eligible to receive a tuition scholarship of $1500 applied to their second full semester of study at NBC. Students receiving this scholarship must attain a GPA of 2.0 in their first semester of study at NBC in order to receive the scholarship in their second semester.
To apply for this scholarship, request a scholarship application form when you send us your Application for Admission. The Ministry Children Scholarship application form must be completed and submitted prior to August 15 (or November 15 in the case of second semester students)
3. Bursaries
Bursaries are granted to students who are in good standing and who are in genuine financial need. Applications and a detailed list of eligibility criteria are made available each August to all those who have indicated their intention to study at NBC in the coming fall. A list of bursaries can be found in our catalogue.
The Canada Student Loan Plan designates Nipawin Bible College as eligible for qualifying students. Low interest loans and grants are available under this plan. Additional information can be obtained at your bank. We can also assist you with any questions.
5. First Nations Assistance
First Nations students may also be eligible for financial assistance through their own band assistance program.
6. Foreign Students
Tuition assistance is available for foreign students on a limited basis. Further information is available from the Registrar.
Volunteers are needed to finish the renovation on the Men's Dormitory. The project is still on schedule, but certainly not done yet. We would welcome your help with this project. More ->
